Discontinuation of the supply of Material Safety Data Sheets for Products of Perlon-Monofil GmbH

The European Regulation 1907/2006/EG about the Registration, Evaluation and Authorization of CHemicals (REACH) became effective on June 1st, 2007 and its first stage was realized by December 1st, 2010. REACH defines the term and demand for the supply of a Material Safety Data Sheet only for substances and formulations which either have to be characterized according to the hazardous substances legislation or are persistent or bioaccumulative.

As our monofilaments are classified within the category “Article” according to REACH, the supply of a Material Safety Data Sheet is no longer necessary. Consequently, we herewith would like to inform you that we will abandon to provide Material Safety Data Sheets with future deliveries.

It is of utmost importance to us to continue to serve our customers with adequate information about the safe handling, storage and disposal of our products.

Therefore we have issued Safe Use Instruction Sheets (=SUIS) that can be downloaded here.
